Laos, nestled in the heart of Southeast Asia, invites you to explore its serene landscapes, diverse ethnic tapestry, and a culture deeply rooted in tradition. Throughout your adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into the intricate temples, or “wats,” influenced by Theravada Buddhism, which stand as testaments to both spiritual and artistic legacies.

Experimental Sandcasting and Hot Glass Retreat in Tasmania 3st March - 7th April 2025 

Embark on an all-inclusive 8-day hot glass retreat set against the stunning backdrop of Tasmania. Led by Kirstie Rea, Keith Dougall, Brenda Page and teaching assistant. From immersive artist studio visits to hands-on sand casting and blowing in the hotshop. The retreat begins in Hobart, where attendees will explore private studios and visit local glass installations. As the adventure continues, a minibus journey will lead to the foothills of the central highlands, and then onward to the charming town of Poatina. Here, the magic of molten glass will be explored through sand casting, culminating in the creation of experimental glass pieces that will be further refined in the studio.
